Volunteers are welcome from all Communities in the area.
They are an integral part of the Snowflake Night Shelter's success. They are the ones that create real change for those most in need. This is your chance to meet new people, gain new skills and experience and have fun whilst being part of a great cause. We need Night Shelter Volunteers to help tackle the issue of homelessness this winter and provide support to those who are most vulnerable.
What does a Volunteer Do?
Main tasks include:
A Volunteers` Handbook is issued to each volunteer which sets out the routines which they follow when engaging with the Guests in the Night Shelter.
Energy and enthusiasm
Being non judgemental
Commitment and dependability
Willing to learn and listen
