How You Can Help

You can report concerns about rough sleepers at any time through the national Streetlink service. The details you provide are sent to the local authority or outreach service for the area in which you have seen the person, to help them find the individual and connect them to support.

The experience of those who have contributed to the setting up and running of our winter night shelters is that it rewards and revitalises lives of all those involved, Guests and Volunteers alike!

If you wish to help, here are some things to think about:

  1. Our target is for a group of 250 volunteers to operate the Snowflake Night Shelter 7 nights a week (we open from late November to mid-March)
could you be one of them?
  2. Could your community building or hall be used overnight one day a week as part of the Night Shelter rota?
  3. Could your company sponsor the Snowflake Night Shelter?
  4. Could you volunteer to help at/organise fundraising events?
